1. Introduction
QR Password Manager (QPM) is a mobile password management service developed by eStorm, designed to manage users’ IDs and passwords. Unlike typical password managers that sync users’ passwords to the cloud, QPM stores all IDs and passwords exclusively on the user’s smartphone. When IDs and passwords are required on a PC Chrome browser, QPM connects with the Chrome extension to securely transmit the credentials from the smartphone to the PC. Users can manage all their online IDs and passwords independently on their smartphones, without relying on a specific browser, through the QPM app.
2. Data Storage and Security
QPM operates in a unique manner by exclusively storing all login credentials on the user’s smartphone. When accessing services on a PC, users can automatically input their credentials by scanning a QR code generated by the Chrome extension with the QPM mobile app. This method ensures security by storing data safely on the user’s device without syncing it to the cloud. Data transmission is secured through asymmetric key encryption, providing additional protection.
3. Use of Google AdMob
For free users, QPM displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. While QPM does not collect any personal information from users, device and app usage data may be shared with Google AdMob to enable targeted advertising based on Google AdMob’s policies. Non-personally identifiable information (non-PII) is used in these interactions to facilitate the ad delivery process.
4. Personal Information
When installing the QPM app, no personal information is required from the user. The initial setup only requires a PIN code or biometric authentication from the smartphone, without the need to create a master username and password. Therefore, QPM does not collect or store any personal information including other personal data such as email addresses or phone numbers on our servers.
5. User Rights
All users have the right to securely manage their account data within the QPM app. Even if a user loses their smartphone, the data remains protected as long as the device’s security measures are in place. If users have any concerns regarding the management of their personal information or data, they can contact us at any time.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
eStorm reserves the right to update the Privacy Policy as necessary. In the event of significant changes, users will be notified through the settings menu within the QPM app.
