1. Introduction
Welcome to QR Password Manager (QPM), the latest mobile password manager service provided by eStorm. QPM is designed to enhance online security and convenience across all devices, featuring both a PC Chrome browser extension and a mobile app.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using QPM, users agree to the terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you must discontinue using QPM.
3. Description of Services
QPM securely stores the IDs and passwords on the user’s smartphone, facilitating the login process via QR codes scanned with the QPM mobile app. This service provides an integrated password management solution through its PC extension and mobile application.
4. Free Service vs. Subscription Service
QPM offers both free and subscription-based services. The free service allows storage of up to 20 online service credentials and displays ads. The subscription service has no storage limits, is ad-free, and includes additional features.
5. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the biometric information and remembering the PIN code registered in the QPM app. It is the user’s responsibility if they forget the PIN code or lose access due to biometric authentication failure. Additionally, since all account information is stored exclusively on the smartphone, eStorm cannot restore account information in case of device loss. Users must ensure the security of their devices to prevent unauthorized access to QPM data.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
QPM prioritizes the protection of user privacy by storing all data locally on the user’s smartphone, safeguarding it with advanced encryption, and ensuring access is granted solely through biometric authentication. This approach eliminates the risks associated with cloud storage and prevents unauthorized access.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights related to the QPM service belong to eStorm or its licensors. This includes trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other proprietary rights owned by eStorm. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use QPM in accordance with the terms provided by eStorm. These terms do not transfer ownership or any other rights to the user, and any reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, display, performance, republishing, downloading, storage, or other use of any part of QPM is strictly prohibited. By using QPM, users must respect the intellectual property rights of eStorm and its licensors.
8. Change of Terms
eStorm reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time and will provide notice to users for any significant changes.
9. Limitation of Liability
While eStorm strives to protect user data, it cannot guarantee protection against all potential vulnerabilities in mobile apps and browser platforms. eStorm is not liable for any loss or damage produced by the use of QPM and will only provide compensation up to the amount of the monthly subscription fee, if applicable.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Seoul, South Korea.
